Abstract submission

Eligibility:

  • You are a graduate student or postdoc working on a project related to neuroprosthetics at any University.

  • You commit to participating in all four days of the summer school, and would like to present your own research at this event.

 

Neuroprosthetics will include a total of 24 presentations: 8 related to the brain, 8 related to the spinal cord and 8 related to nerves. Each presentation will be 8 minutes long, followed by a 7 minute Q&A.  To apply for a student presentation spot, please submit the abstract submission below.

 

All selected student presenters will have access to:

  • interact with speakers

  • discuss the talks with other participants

  • present your research on a dedicated day

  • impress your audience for a chance to win a prize

  • receive a certificate for your attendance.

Bring your own science

Abstract requirements:

  • 200 words + 1 quarter-page figure (pdf)

OR

  • 250 words with no figure

Abstract submission deadline: July 1st, 2020

Notification of acceptance: July 10th, 2020 (expected)

Abstracts will be selected by the Scientific and Organizing Committee with input from the researcher/industry speakers. Any applicants not selected for a student presentation will be invited to participate in the summer school as a registered student (if eligible) or member of the general research/clinicians/industry audience.
